Finding happiness in little things in life

They said life is a beautiful gift, and what can be more beautiful than living a life of happiness. That's what one aims for in life, isn't it?

Happiness is an emotional state of being happy driven by joy, satisfaction, and something that makes you content and peaceful at heart. And I believe we are responsible for our happiness.

Having a hot cup of tea or coffee on a cold day would make someone happy, or being wrapped up in a cozy blanket would be preferred by the other. This feeling would differ from person to person, and it's completely rational. We individuals have different sets of likings and whatnot. And so, the reasons for happiness vary from person to person.

For some, buying luxuries and going on vacations would make them feel out of the world. Of course, the hard work and the effort have to be appreciated for the same. Some do enjoy the process of working towards their goals and find happiness in that. This process can be of ups and downs, but the one who is very determined would definitely be content with the learnings out of it. So, happiness is just not a feeling developed out of materialistic objects. It can be felt in anything we like the most, be it reading or writing a book.

Happiness brings positivity to life, which in turn makes you more optimistic with the approach toward life. You start your day with a small act of kindness; it will definitely make your day. You feel happy, and eventually, start spreading the positive vibes all over. It just multiplies.

A lot of us are now facing stress due to various reasons such as health issues, work, relationships, etc., which eventually leads to anxiety, depression, and disturbed life. And how do we deal with it? Share, meditate, exercise, listen to music, or whatever that calms you down. Every coin has two sides..so do happiness and sadness. But how we deal with both is the key. Without sadness, we won't appreciate happiness. Both are just part of life.
